Our Pastor

Reverend Clifton A Campbell (Senior Pastor)

Revd. Campbell is a born-again Christian for over 37 years.  His journey commenced on the 30th of September 1986 at NTCG Garlands Saint James, Jamaica. He moved to Kingston two years later and continued his Christian walk and spiritual development at the renowned NTCG 65 Waltham Park Road prior to immigrating to England.

He is best described as a loyal, talented and caring person who endeavours to be a positive influence in the lives of those he comes in contact with.

Family life for Revd. Campbell is of the utmost importance. He demonstrates good values towards their development and that of other families.  This is evident and is displayed in the relationship between him and his dear wife of 31 years.  Revd. Campbell and his wife Sister Erica Campbell have been blessed with their son Tevon who is a blessing to them both.

Revd. Campbell has been a credential minister in the NTCG for 16 years. During these years he served his local church in Jamaica, as Sunday School Teacher, Men's President, and Evangelism Director.  In addition to these offices, he also served for thirteen years as a member of the Church and Pastor's Council.

Revd. Campbell has been a certified level 2 chaplain in the Church of God since 2015.  He continues to develop his skills and has attained several certificates to support his ministry such as Certificate in Theology from Bethel Bible College Jamaica, Certificate in Counselling from the University of the West Indies Open Campus, a Diploma in counselling from United Theological College and a Certificate in Supervisor Management from the University of the West Indies Open Campus to name a few.  He is currently in the final year of perusing his qualification as a Person Centered Counsellor.

Rev Campbell works as a Bank Chaplain at the Walsall Manor Hospital and since 2019 as Volunteer Chaplain with the West Midlands Police.  Additionally, he provides support to young people with special needs at Argent College Birmingham.

For nearly eight years Revd. Campbell was the pastor for NTCG Trowbridge where he served the people of God with dignity and humility.

On his arrival in Trowbridge, the congregation was without a church building of their own.  Under his leadership and the grace of God they were able to acquire a building of their own along with the growth of the members.

His motto is: To serve God's people with a human touch and a servant heart.  He joins with the song writer with "If I can help somebody as I walk along then my living will not be in vain".

His zeal for pressing on with God is anchored on 1 Peter 1 v 4 "to an inheritance, incorruptible, undefiled and fade not away, reserve in Heaven for you…"
